May 2008 Speakers at BE 2008 & 2008 HEEP Area II Conferences

I am pleased to announce that we have been invited to speak at both the 2008 BE conference in Baltimore MD (Friday May 30th) and the HEEP Area II conference in Atlanta Georgia (June 10th).

Our presentation for the BE conference will be focused on ProjectWise XM and presented by Chris Pausch, KnowledgeBase Director of Projects. See Agenda.

Mr. Pausch has been certifying and deploying the ProjectWise Electronic Content Management System for over 10 years as a direct employee for Bentley Systems, Inc, Jacobs Engineering and more recently as Director of Projects for KnowledgeBase Consulting Group. Mr. Pausch was directly responsible for developing and deploying ProjectWise to the Army Corp. of Engineers Savannah District and more recently for being responsible for the Enterprise deployment of ProjectWise for all 20 Jacobs Engineering offices for both the civil and facilities groups. Mr. Pausch has been a key member of the ProjectWise ECMS deployment team for the Arizona Public Service utility company. Mr. Pausch's 20 + years in the CADD industry in roles serving support, certification, deployment management, and project management, have enabled him to educate and publicly speak as an expert in Content Management.

Our 2 presentations for the HEEP Area II conference will be focused on Implementing i-drop© “drag-and-drop” technology presented by Kevin Fern, KnowledgeBase President, and successful Document Management in a DOT Engineering Environment presented by Chris Pausch, KnowledgeBase Director of Projects. Mr. Fern has been developing, configuring, and training MicroStation for over 20 years. His experience of using technologies to better enable organizational CADD Management has been his strengths. Mr. Fern is the founder of KnowledgeBase Consulting Group and has been providing CADD standardization solutions through MicroStation for the Transportation and Utilities industry. His experience identifying and or implementing CADD standards solutions in such organizations as Arizona DOT, County of Orange, New Mexico DOT, Oklahoma DOT, Maricopa County DOT, Oregon DOT, Arizona Public Service, and Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station has enabled him to see a vast array of issues related to CADD standardization and bring best practice and knowledge of the systems into these organizations.
